Friends,
In his new movie "Sicko,"
Michael Moore advocates universal healthcare.
Is universal healthcare the answer to
our healthcare problems?
No. The answer to our healthcare problems is not to wait less time to see
better doctors for less money.
The answer to our healthcare problems
is to take doctors out of the picture.
Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." He
didn't say, "Let someone
else take care of thy health."
We are a sick nation because we think we can eat anything and everything
under the sun and then go to a doctor to make us well again. The body can't
tolerate that kind of thinking.
The body wants good food -- and really
really really doesn't want bad food.
Foods to Avoid:
NO: Pasteurized anything (especially pasteurized cow's milk, a truly
dangerous food)

NO: Refined sugar of any kind (including brown sugar, turbinado sugar, and
cane sugar of any kind, unless you
can chew the stalk of a just-cut cane plant)

NO: Tofu or soymilk

NO: Synthetic vitamin A (aka "retinyl palmitate" or "Retinol palmitate" or "vitamin A
palmitate" or
"pro-vitamin A" )

NO: Tap water

NO: GMO anything
(Most corn and therefore corn syrup is GMO-contaminated.)
Foods to Enjoy:
YES: Raw vegetables and fruits and nuts and seeds
YES: Raw sprouts
YES: Miso and tempeh (i.e., *fermented* soy only)
YES: Raw unrefined coconut oil (use instead of butter/cooking
oils)
YES: Xylitol (a natural sweetener (made from corn cobs) that bypasses insulin
metabolism and is a mere 7 on the glycemic index -- honey averages about 50,
turbinado is 68. Xylitol is alkalinizing instead of acidifying and therefore discourages
bacteria that cause tooth decay; Xylitol actually remineralizes the teeth. The list of
health benefits goes on . . .)

YES: Fish (but be sure to eat cilantro -- a heavy metals chelator -- with your fish.
Never eat tuna, as it is too high on the food chain and has accumulated too great a
load
of heavy metals.)
YES: Chicken (truly free-range only -- some companies call their chickens "free range"
but only let them out of their cages to "roam" in a 2' x 2' space)
YES: Meat (non-factory-farmed only, antibiotics/hormones/vaccines-free only,
grass-fed only)
YES: Whole organic grains
YES: Raw organic cacao powder
YES: Maca root powder
YES: Blue green algae
