To
the Editor:
Kudos
to Michel Cicero for the well-researched article First Do No Harm: Taking Shots
at Mandatory Immunizations (Aug. 30, 2001). Some addenda:
1.
Neither the Salk nor the Sabin (live-virus) polio vaccine was ever proven
effective against polio. (See graphs attached.) These vaccines were effective
only in causing polio. The horror surrounding the administration of polio
vaccines is well-documented (see Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and
Effective? by Neil Z. Miller) and virtually
ignored.
2.
While it is true (and an understatement) that vaccinations are not entirely
safe, it is also true that vaccination benefits are entirely illusory. Supposed
benefits of vaccination have been manufactured since Pasteur, a tireless self-promoter
and master huckster. (See Pasteur Exposed: The False Foundations of Modern
Medicine, by Ethel Douglas Hume.)
Pasteur's greatest hoax, that germs cause disease, has become the foundation of
Western (allopathic) medicine. But as one researcher pithily puts it, germs no
more cause disease than flies cause garbage. (See Immunization: The Reality
Behind the Myth, by Walene James.)
3.
One clever way state health officials get around informing parents about their
right to exempt their children from vaccination is by simply
"forgetting" to xerox the back of a two-sided form; the back of the
form is the waiver. (See www.thedoctorwithin.com)
Health
officials' claim that nonvaccinated persons are a danger to the populace at
large is an oxymoron. If vaccinations really worked, the nonvaccinated minority
couldn't possibly be a danger to the vaccinated majority.
The
only scientific argument ever offered by the medical industry in favor of
vaccination is that vaccines produce antibodies. But government statistics,
medical research studies, and FDA and CDC reports show that vaccine-induced
antibody production is helpless against disease and that vaccines are a prime
cause of the very diseases they are meant to prevent.
Because
the documentation in favor of natural, as opposed to artificial, immunity is so
great, on January 29, 2001 I made the following offer to U. S.-licensed medical
doctors who routinely administer childhood vaccinations and to pharmaceutical
company CEOs worldwide:
Jock
Doubleday, president of the California nonprofit corporation Natural Woman,
Natural Man, Inc., hereby offers $20,000.00 (U.S.) to the first medical doctor
or pharmaceutical company CEO who publicly drinks a mixture of standard vaccine
additive ingredients in the same amount as a six-year-old child is recommended
to receive under the year-2000 guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention. The mixture will not contain viruses or bacteria dead
or alive, but will contain standard vaccine additive ingredients in their usual
forms and proportions. http://www.spontaneouscreation.org/SC/links.htm
Although
this offer has been circulated worldwide for seven months, no doctor or drug
company CEO has taken me up on it.
Doctors
who take the Hippocratic oath to first, do no harm are happy to experiment on
children with vaccines of unproved safety.
But
don't expect your doctor to take responsibility if your child becomes autistic
or dies. More likely you will be blamed. Your doctor may even suggest to social
workers that your child suffers from malnutrition or shaken baby syndrome.
With
medical friends like these, who needs enemies?
Yours
faithfully,
Jock
