Dear David,

How are you today?

I would like to make three comments on Caroline's book Anatomy of the Spirit. I hope that you will find them interesting enough to pass them on to Caroline.

First, I found the book very moving, and I appreciate all the hard work that went into its creation. Anatomy of the Spirit is a welcome addition to the human library.

My second comment concerns Caroline's statements on page 107:

"The spirit and attitude of the tribe was ultimately stronger than the virus. Not coincidentally Jonas Salk discovered the vaccine for polio in the early 1950s."

As the director of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, I have spent seven years researching the subject of vaccination.

I can assure you, Caroline, and anyone else who cares to listen that science has never demonstrated that any vaccine has been effective in preventing any disease for any individual or group of individuals in any country in any time period in history.

Like Caroline, I once believed that vaccination was one of modern medicine's greatest goods. After extensive research, part of which is documented in my article "Discovering the Truth about Vaccination" . . .

. . . I have found no evidence that vaccines have done any good for humankind.

When disease incidence rises, as in the case of polio (which by the way could have been prevented by taking the sugar--from Coca Cola, etc.--and starch products out of the Western diet: see Benjamin Sandler's book, Diet Prevents Polio), nature takes care of us.

Incidence of polio and all other major diseases (except smallpox, a special case) peaked and fell quickly without help from vaccinations or human interventions of any kind. Sometimes vaccination is introduced at the tail end of this fall in incidence, but vaccination always takes credit for the decline.

Although I have found no evidence that vaccines have done us any good, I have found significant evidence that vaccines have caused us great harm.

I won't go into detail on the subject of the harm vaccines have caused, but some researchers believe that vaccination has caused more deaths and more disease than any other medical intervention in human history.

Two important books on the subject of vaccination are:

Jamie Murphy, What Every Parent Should Know about Childhood Immunization

Tim O'Shea, The Sanctity of Human Blood: Vaccination Is Not Immunization (you can find Tim's book on www.thedoctorwithin.com)

My third comment concerns Caroline's mention of the "AIDS virus" and "HIV" (page 278).

a)  There is no evidence that the HIV virus exists. The virus has never been isolated.

b)  There is no evidence that a new and separate disease, AIDS, exists. Science tells us that so-called "AIDS" is a collection of old diseases re-named for reasons unknown at this time:

I hope these comments are taken in the spirit they are meant to be taken, which is to say, in the spirit of progress towards truth.

In health,
